Barcelona Convention Bureau

The Barcelona Convention Bureau (BCB) is a specialized division of Turisme de Barcelona that promotes Barcelona as a congress, convention and incentive travel destination, and offers free and impartial advice to professionals interested in organizing their meeting in Barcelona.
Founded in 1983, BCB was a pioneer in this field in Spain. All these years of work have given us in-depth knowledge of the city, creating close working relationships with companies in the meetings industry.

Sustainability

In 2011, Barcelona was the first city in the world to be awarded Biosphere Certification as a responsible tourism destination by the Responsible Tourism Institute, an international organisation supported by UNESCO to promote sustainable tourism at every level. Since then, hundreds of enterprises have joined in the commitment to sustainability and Barcelona has renewed it Biosphere Certification until 2024.
